Vettel Wings It!

by Mike on October 4, 2009

A dominant win for Seb Vettel means neither championship was decided at Suzuka today. He was followed home by a very strong Jarno Trulli with Lewis Hamilton coming third in a McLaren denied Kers for much of the race.

This is how it all affected the really important championship:

2nd Gareth Crew 441.5

3rd Mike CJ 416

4th Chris (Another one) 414

5th Kieron Donaghue 412

6th Andy Hey 407

7th Kim Sheader 406

8th Jim 901 404.5

9th Andrzej 395

9th Paul 395

11th Jammy 393

12th Ian 381.5

12th Zath 381.5

14th Jane White 375.5

15th Chris Brown 374

16th Ryan Lineker 373.5

17th Chris Rowe 364.5

18th Tim 99 362

19th Nathan Pledger 354

20th Sarah Ayres 349

21st John Frost 341

22nd James Burgess 320

I didn’t see the race, was it a good one? I love Suzuka! :)

I got up at very early O’clock to watch it. It was pretty dull, but a safety car with 6 laps to go made the final sprint quite exciting. Lewis was under some pressure as his Kers had failed.
And poor old Brawn failed to win the constructors championship by 0.5 of a point!
I’ve worked out all the possible permutations that would enable you or I to topple Alex from the lead with two races to go by the way……
